I NEEED COFFEEE!!

What was your New Year’s resolution?

Lose weight? Save money? Get fit? Be nicer to your spouse? Be more patient with your children? Give up coffee?…

Unfortunately, research shows that only a small number of people keep their resolutions. The rest of us choose something that we know we should do but, deep down, we don’t want to do for a variety of reasons.

And it is because of those reasons that the issue has arisen in the first place. Looking at my casebook, I see…

  • the lady who wanted to control her chocolate consumption but discovered through our work together that she ate it because she suspected/knew her husband was cheating on her
  • the gentleman who was getting more and more impatient with his mother because he found he was grieving the Mum he loved and was losing to dementia
  • the young lady who was finding herself spending too much time on social media looking for company and companionship, when what she really wanted was the real life friends she was too frightened to make.

Achieving personal goals sometimes requires initially painful realisations that help you grow in the long term.

Hypnotherapy can help you with that.

Happy New Year!
